Three (3) Phase installations and appliances utilise 3 active conductors (know as phases) each having a supply voltage of 240V AC and sharing a common return Neutral path.  Each of these phases have a sign wave offset by 120 degrees.  This results in an overall Line Voltage (VL) of 415V.

Our team at 131 TAG have the required test instruments to ensure all 3 Phase testing is done in accordance with Australian Standards.  3 phase testing includes –

• Earth Continuity Test
• Insulation Resistance Test
• Polarity Test
• Earth Leakage Test.

Appliances with an LED or electronic switch (known as a soft switch) must have a leakage test conducted to ensure testing is compliant with AS/NZS 3760:2010.

We also provide 3 Phase RCD testing to ensure compliance with the Queensland Electrical Safety Regulation.
